Warriors In The Workplace Partners With Cale Systems For Donation System

(Patten, ME) February 19, 2016  Warriors In The Workplace is excited to announce that they have partnered with Cale Systems to pilot an onsite donation system using Cale’s CTW Terminal at Warriors In The Workplace events during 2016.

The onsite donation terminal will be a familiar site to many, as the CTW Terminal is currently used as a replacement for traditional parking meters in many cities.   Cale’s CTW Terminal will be configured to accept both cash and credit card donations at events, creating an instant receipt of donation for people that can be used as a tax deduction.  It also offers increased security of the funds donated during events to Warriors In The Workplace.

The debut of Warriors In The Workplace donation terminal will be at the Chick Fil A at International Speedway Boulevard during the Daytona 500 weekend.  Fans who stop by Chick Fil A on their way to the track can see a former Cup car adorned with the Warriors In The Workplace badge and meet members of the Warriors In The Workplace crew.

Warriors In The Workplace, a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit, was created to honor the memory of a local hero.  As a Marine, he had survived 2 tours of Iraq and one in Afghanistan and had been awarded a purple heart. Facing a staggering unemployment rate and suffering from PTSD, he took his own life.   Similar tragedies play out daily, with an average of 22 military suicides per day.   Warriors In The Workplace is the organization that was created in the wake of his loss to help our returning veterans.   The initiative is specifically geared toward the men and women of the U.S. Military, to offer them employment opportunities based upon skills they have acquired and perfected throughout their military careers.  To learn more about this organization, please contact John Birmingham, Executive Director, at 207.694.1808 or by email at jbirmingham@warriorsintheworkplace.org.
